Admission to UCLA w/ in-state/out-of-state credits?

So UCLA gives more leniency towards accepting students who have gone to CALIFORNIA community colleges and transfer right?

I have a inconvenient situation as of right now: I finished 2 semesters at a California community college... and because of family-related problems..

I had to move back to Washington State (where I am from originally).

As of this coming winter quarter, I will be starting school again at a community college (in Washington).

Would I still have that "leniency" since I went to a California community college some point in my life?

Or would it only count towards those who finished a whole 2 years in a California community college?

I on the other hand, want to get back to California as soon as I can.

Maybe work on a quarter or two here in Washington and finish up at the community college in California and transfer to UCLA?

What do you think?

Some California community colleges offer courses online. They maybe cost a little more to out of state students. But they cost much less than the courses in UC, in long -run, it is still worth.
