What do you need to get into UMD
Have you looked at their website? Do that and then come back here with questions that are not answered on the website.
Thank you for the response!! And yes I’ve been all over the website but I was wondering like what are people’s SAT scores as well as GPA and how much weight is thrown into extra curricular activities.

UMD’s 26 factors for admission may be of interest to some. (you can google) It is their official statement on admissions criteria. Of course each individual criteria probably carries a a different weight.
For years UMD has reported an average GPA of 4.2 -4.3. This is obviously a WEIGHTED average even though it is constantly reported as GPA. Looking at the percentiles above I am inclined to believe what they published was WGPA regardless of how they labeled it. UMD is difficult to get into for sure but 93% with a 4.0 that is not weighted? That’s higher than Harvard (93% above 3.75).
