i don't know much about kenyon.... but is it easy to get into?

Admissions is getting more competitive each year. (I don't know what the admit rate is.) But here are some facts:

Avg. % of First-Year students
who are National Merit Scholars: 8

Middle 50% SAT I
Verbal Scores: 620-720

Middle 50% SAT I
Math Scores: 600-690

Middle 50% ACT
scores: 27-32

Secondary-
School GPA and
Curriculum
Avg. % of First-Year Students
with 4.00 or higher: 30

Avg. % of Firsy-Year Students
with 3.40 or higher: 75

Avg. number of AP courses taken
in high school: 4

Secondary-School Class Rank
Avg. % of First-Year students
in top 10%: more than 50

i just checked and found out that the acceptance rate for 2004 was around 38% while in 2003 it was 46%, 52 the year before and 66% before that. SO kenyon is definitely getting more popular and hence selective. the acc rate has decreased by over 25% in the last three years!
Oh ya, another info: 3356 applied in 2003, an increase of 518 from the previous year( no info on 04 and 05).

with a 780m760v 8002c/780wr/710sp and a 3.3u/3.7w with 9 ap courses, do you think i'll get in?

So_Delirious,
U seem to have pretty impressive stats but that's really inadequate to even guess, which is the only thing we can do anyway, right now.Post more details.

You do have really good stats, so if I was on the admissions committee I'd accept you, So_Delirious. Don't know if that counts for much but....that's my input. :)

my gpa is low (3.3u, featuring 4 Cs over the course of hs).. thats what im worried about

at least i know how to use the subjunctive tense properly ;)

Oh, gee thanks for pointing that out.

If I were on the committee.

Any knowledge on this year's acceptance rate??

I got in with a 3.25 uw gpa. My SAT wasn't great either: 1420 (800v 620m).
