<p>PST or EST?</p>

<p>actually i think EST makes more sense. the early app said the deadline for submission was in EST if i remember correctly (i do) and stanford seems like one of those schools that would be consistent. also i live in nyc and it would be soo mean for them to make people on the east coast wait until eight and then cry themselves to sleep after they find out.</p>

<p>i am going to call them and ask them to read the rejection letter to me so i won't be very surprised and thus depressed when i get the real thing. i wonder how they would respond to that and whether or not they would :( </p>

<p>(this started as a horrible joke by my brother, but i'm starting to think it would be a good idea and very necessary in my case...)</p>
