Admissions Counselors

Are applications reviewed by representatives from the particular school one is applying to, or do he Admissions Counselors identified on Vanderbilt's site review all applications from their designated areas regardless of the school being applied to?

The web site seems to say the later although I thought during our visit we were told the former (or maybe I'm confusing Vandy with Cornell?)

Hello again,

That's an easy one to field.

Vanderbilt Admissions Counselors read applications from his/her specific regions of the country and world. Everything is then read a second time by another Counselor to add a different perspective and to ensure that every application gets an accurate read.

Thanks,
Brad Weiner
