Someone at my HS got notified of their acceptance today. So it’s not only every other Friday.
I found my OSU Columbus acceptance email this morning while clearing my inbox, sent last night at 11:30 PM… Definitely wasn’t expecting to hear back this early (or that late at night!). Good luck to everyone else!

Is there a FB or Twitter page for Ohio State University Decision - Accepted students for 2016 ? Through which the prospective students connect with each other …?
I would love to see the Facebook page if there is one to see my potential classmates
@kayleighbrown - On FB, search for “The Ohio State University Class of 2020”
.
Waiting to hear back from Northwestern before I make any decisions regarding where I want to go but tOSU looks very appealing! Granted I’d have to move from Seattle to Columbus but I have been eyeing the Midwest for a while now, and I can’t wait!

Sorry to hear… My daughter has similar stats… Not optimistic
@dreamed awesome, thanks! I found a couple OSU class of 2020 groups so I just joined both since they had a similar amount of members
Younger brother got accepted yesterday, his stats:

Additionally, I’ve been seeing a ton of people talking about how Ohio State places emphasis on class rank/stats, and I don’t think this is very true. I attended OSU for two years (started in 2012) and based on all of the people I met, the university seems to be more interested in boosting average ACT scores (to hopefully have a middle 50% identical to UM) and getting to the Top 50 USNWR Rankings.
I emailed admissions and they said they’re releasing decisions /every/ Friday, rather than every other Friday like someone here said. Can anyone refute or back this up? I just wanna know already!!!
@redandblack-I talked to them today and they said they send out small batches everyday and will continue into January.
@lexistew1 I emailed admissions with the same question and they directed me to Fisher’s admission department. I emailed them and its been two days without an answer.
I got accepted right before thanksgiving. I was very surprised to find out so soon considering state schools in New York take much longer.
Major: Business Admin
State:New York
SAT: 1320 M:640 CR:680
GPA: 4.4/5 (W)
23/288
Top 10%
Pres of Model UN, Mock trial. On student council. Varsity Tennis. Volunteering. Law Internship.
I applied into the legal scholars program (still waiting)
I’ve been told the college (Fisher) you applied into contacts you separately about direct admission. I have contacted admissions several times to confirm this but they aren’t giving me direct answer they are being very vague. According to stats on their website I qualify for direct admittance but I’d like it in writing.
Adding some dates in case; someone out there is looking at timelines…
Instate
I applied on September 14th
Accepted on the 20th Nov (1st batch).
Received a letter in the mail informing acceptance into OSU – Nov 30th approx.
Received a call from OSU – 3rd yr student (to see if I had any questions) – Dec 2nd approx.
Received a letter in the mail, informing I made it into their Engineering program – Dec 9th. Letter states - “We are delighted you are interested in studying engineering and are please to inform of your direct enrollment as a Pre-major in the College of Engineering”.
I never got a letter saying I am a pre-major in engineering but my plan was to major in Civil Engineering. I’m all the way in Seattle so maybe that letter is delayed? @dreamed
@jason922 - Your letter is probably in the mail. I am local to Columbus, so understandably I could be getting the mail communication sooner than some other folks who are OOS or different city.
Have any accepted students received scholarships yet?
