@IDtoTX we were told by osu academic counselor that it is random But all Early action should be today. If you didn’t do early action idk

@apk430 I was accepted 12/15 and got a snail mail acceptance into my school (health and rehab) on 1/2. I live on the west coast so you may get it faster than that if you live closer.
@StrGzrMaryland thank you! I was looking at a particular dorm and the suites said they were upperclassmen only, but it was in the scholars dorm so I was a bit confused on that.
My school didn’t send my transcript in till 11-2 does that mean i don’t qualify for EA even though I had my application turned in on time?

@ic12345 Is there any info about having applied for EA when you click ‘Application Status’? Like a message saying “your app was received for early action” or something along those lines? If you don’t receive anything tonight, the best thing to do would be call or email tomorrow. It does say online though that they “must receive all items by the application deadline”.

I’m guessing they will still keep releasing EA admission, just not sure when. I’m not sure if anybody is even 100% positive that today is that final EA admission date so I will stay hopeful
Accepted around 6:30!! In-state, 31 ACT, 4.2 GPA, app submitted 10/31
Accepted around 8-10pm! Out of state, 31 ACT combined, 3.8 GPA weighted, 6 APs by the end of senior year 
@oreo32 my school f-ed me over even when I have them two weeks notice to turn in my transcript on time, my parents are calling the school and the osu admissions to see if something can be done. my aunt who is a mayor also has connections above administration at osu so hopefully she can talk to them about me, cause I had a greater chance getting in during EA but my chances of getting into my dream school are kinda ruined as of rn.
@collegeco18 Online it says mid-January is the final date for EA (unless deferred and waiting for a second decision). They only do once a month so this is the final wave for EA. There’s definitely still time to hear back! 
“Autumn term applicants: If you met Ohio State’s November 1 early action deadline, you will receive an admission decision by mid-January; otherwise, you will receive an admission decision by end of March”

In state student still waiting here. I’m starting to get a little nervous that something could be wrong.
@slcc10 same boat as you. I applied three days before november 1st. Only a half hour left in the day. Starting to freak out.
Son submitted Common App on October 29th. School had already uploaded transcripts by then. Common app shows that OSU downloaded everything (including transcripts) on Oct 30th. And it says Early Action. But we are still waiting for a decision. For some reason, in his OSU application portal the date for transcripts is showing as 2nd Nov. I guess that is the date they downloaded the information. But that should not matter, right? This wait is very stressful. Only 25 minutes left.
Where does it say early action on the portal?
Son (OOS IL) accepted today at 7:30 pm. He applied 10/30. He has a 31 ACT, 3.7 GPA.
The portal indicates he’s accepted with his desired major of business/finance. Does that mean he’s accepted/direct admit into the Fisher business school, or is that a separate process?
It’s 12 and I am still under evaluation… I called undergrad admissions after the second wave so I know I am a part of EA, but is there another wave we don’t know about? Do the waves last longer than one day?
