Admissions Decisions - Class of 2022

Son deferred 1/26 is still deferred.

Congratulations @Sorisky!

Has anyone in this thread been accepted yet that applied Regular Decision? If so when did you apply?

My son applied 1/7/18 and is still waiting.

I applied on December 16, 2018(Regular decision)! I still didn’t receive a decision. What does this mean? Is it possibly rejection?

Daughter applied on 12/15 RD and is still waiting. I’m guessing it’s a rejection. Personally I feel like her stats are good, but she is OOS and chose engineering so who knows.

My daughter my daughter applied 12/1/18 RD also OOS and applied for Welding Engineering.

Is the system down for anyone else this morning? Is it usually down on sundays?

@Launching Yeah I get that occasionally on sundays too. Shouldn’t be cause for alarm.

In other news, applied 12/22 for rolling admission and still waiting. Called on Friday, and got the same end of the month answer as everyone else, even though it’s past the 10-12 weeks that they said it should take. Anyone else in that boat?

Could it be a bad thing that I have not received a deferral or ANYTHING at all where as I applied November 28 for the Arts and Science program? My status is still under evaluation. Could that mean that they may just deny me altogether?

@slayld You wouldn’t of been deferred because you didn’t apply for ED which applications were due by 11/1 for ED. Since you applied after that date you were considered RD and from what I can’t tell by this thread it looks like no one has heard back yet that applied ED, but I could be wrong

@Launching my daughter applied 12/1

Is It true that for this years freshmen applicants, they have been sending decisions on just Fridays/Saturdays? Or have they done them during the week as well?

@slayld All of the decisions I’ve seen posted appear to have come out on Friday’s.

Anyone know when denial letters are sent? Are they sent in the same sending as acceptance letters? Asking for a friend.

Curious if any parents are planning to attend orientation session with their son/daughter? Also, any info on early arrival program for business school?

I just signed us up for orientation. Facebook page indicates most parents do elect to go with their student.

@wbg777 We went with our daughter 3 years ago and are planning to attend with our son this year. You really don’t spend that much time with your student. As I recall, they have a schedule and so do you. There are a couple of choices of sessions, and you can pick.

My son applied regular decision on 12/01/17. Great stats but still no update on application status. Still says ‘evaluation’. (31 ACT, 4.3 weighted GPA and 3 sport varsity athlete, to name a few
)

I was deferred in January and got in Friday. I’m in state with 33 ACT and 3.8 GPA unweighted
