@neptuna Congrats! How did you find out? Did you get scholarships or didnāt you get a full ride through financial aid?
Accepted! My daughter received her email on 3-26, and the packet arrived in the mail today. Applied 10-30-17, deferred on 1-27-18, and finally got an answer!
@osuker Congratulations to your daughter! By any chance would you be willing to share gpa/test scores? I applied around the same time so iām just curious. 
All the decisions are made by the way. Not sure about EA applicants who were deferred but the Rolling Admission applicants are completed. Now just waiting for them to send out the decisions via email. Best of luck to everyone awaiting a response! If push comes to shove and you are not accepted, bigger blessing are coming. Sorry to those who are not very religious lol. But again, best of luck to all!

@osuker thank you for posting and making me hopeful once again!! These stats are almost identical to mine. Curious as well, did you guys send in how many college credits she had? I have about the same credits but never sent in how many exactly I had from my ccp classes unless they could tell from my high school transcript. Wondering if that makes a difference.
Anyone know if today is the final day of decisions for deferred applicants?
@slayld I applied rolling on 12/27 and all my application pieces were submitted. On the portal it still says āevaluationā when I click on the application status. Am I missing something?
@alteredwolf235 I was told from a personal resource whoās connected to the admissions office. Mine is still evaluating as well. I donāt have an answer but as far as I know, they do have these decisions finalized for us RA applicants
@bvives8 I found out by checking My Buckeye Link. I havenāt received an email or any letter in the mail yet. I was given a federal pell grant, a state grant, and the Land Grant Scholarship.
Does anyone know what time decisions are typically released? I feel like Iāve seen 3:30 EST somewhere, but I canāt find that info again.
@Metafate, I think itās been later. Evening and later that Iāve noticed people posting here.
My daughter checked her portal last Friday at 10:30 pm to find out. Email came about 11:30 pm Friday night. She did not see the email until Saturday
@lolomcmomo She did not specify the number of transfer credits on her initial application, only submitted transcripts. We did upload an updated transcript after the deferral, which reflected 2nd semester grades/credits. Good luck!
Son DEFERRED in January from Early Action application (applied October 17) Mechanical Engineering
Online portal status just switched at 3-3:30 today to WAIT OFFER
Once he clicked on WAIT OFFER it explained that he will receive an email soon describing his options. He can choose to have his name put on a wait list OR choose one of the other options. Iām assuming they may be for a branch campus???
Quick stats: ACT 28; GPA 3.78: Worked while in school; science and math AP throughout top Ohio high school. One brother graduated from OSU (Computer Science Engineering); other brother currently a sophomore (Accounting)

Daughter denied. Just popped. Applied RD for engineering in December. Wish they wouldnāt have drawn this out
