Son applied EA in Oct, deferred in the first round before Thanksgiving. Havenāt heard a peep from OSU until just now, denied for Columbus, accepted for a Branch Campus. In state, 33 ACT, 3.5 UW GPA. I am an OSU alum, but have to say Iām not impressed with OSUās process, not impressed at all. Surely this decision was made months ago, why drag it out? Luckily he has received lots of love from his other 2 schools, and OSU was his 3rd choice. Best of luck to all of you who are still waiting. As I heard someone else say and believe it to be true, Love the School that Loves You and you will end up exactly where you belong.

Same here, I just got waitlisted. I really thought I was going to get rejected so I am happy in a way but still a little bit bummed.

Everyone is going to do great at their schools! I like the advice above. Love the school that loves you (my son hasnāt checked but based on the above it wonāt be good news).
Is there a process at OSU to appeal a decision?
Applied EA late October, deferred 12/15, got denied entry to main campus today for business. 26 ACT and a 4.15 weighted GPA, 3.75 UW and multiple leaderships positions/community services, working 2 jobs at the same time, and more. Weird that a friend of mine got in with a 21 and another with a 22 ACT, both with less credentials/clubs/sports. This sucks

Our son is oos applicant. Applied early decision. Was deferred 11/15.Waited until today just to find out he has a waitlist offer. I have stalked this board for months and never signed up to post until now. This has been a brutal process.
As parents it is hard to not take it personally when our children are rejected. Especially when we compare to lesser qualified applicants. Life is not fair. Fair does not mean equal. We must trust that this process that has been heartbreaking, nerve racking, confidence busting and leaves usscratching our heads, will help our children in the long run. It has been heartbreaking to see so many well rounded awesome kids doubt themselves. This should be an encouragement to us all to support our children and believe in them.
Andrew is from NC. Has a weighted gpa of 4.54 with Ap courses and honors. A decent amount of extra curricular. Basically an awesome well rounded kid that works hard and will be an asset where ever he chooses to attend just as your kids will be. Time to look forward. Life isnāt meant to be lived looking in the rear view mirror.
I was waitlisted today and called admissions. They said it can take as long as until June 1st to know whether or not you are accepted. This is ridiculous
Wait offer for me as well. Deferred in january. Does anyone know how to accept the offer? I got the email but the link just brings me to a page, which has a link that brings me back to my application page.

Got deferred on early action, then rejected on the 30th of March. Have a 3.7 GPA with a 1420 SAT.
Applied in December RD to business school and still have not heard backā¦ Is this an issue?
