I take that back, Gov. Christie’s daughter is already attending ND, but he was talking about it on the radio this morning, hence my confusion.
Actually, Gov. Christie’s daughter is a current freshman, so wouldn’t be receiving anything. As far as when letters will come, just be patient, as hard as it is. Mail service can sometimes be very arbitrary. FWIW I mailed a letter to my daughter (current student) that took a week to get to her. We live an hour from campus. When she was accepted, she received her letter the day after it was mailed. You just never know. Hang in there!
Rejected on Long Island
still nothing in northwest ohio… hoping they didn’t forget about me.
hi guys just wanted to let everyone know i got in today with a 1750 SAT and a 3.5 weighted gpa. my ECs are minimal at best. good luck to all
@theblenderer congrats! Where are you from and what will you be studying?
@homeless2Harvard: you are such a humble, gracious and amazing young man! If both you and my son decide to attend ND, I hope he has the pleasure of meeting you.
@homeless2Harvard Congratulations! It’s easy for me to see why you were accepted. You are just the type of person they are looking for. Judging by how articulate and caring you are, I am sure your great qualities were displayed in your essay. ND is lucky to have you. Enjoy this time in your life.
congrats man!!! all your hard during high school has surely paid off. well deserved!!1
@theblenderer I’m glad your safety school school has come through with this appropriate decision. I just want to know why ball is truly life and how to get married to a princess if you have 3 inch side burns. As you seem to be the alpha of all things I think you will be able to help me with these serious predicaments.
@Acefern4355 thank you very much kind squire. I am not quite sure if it is the appropriate decision considering my stats are a tad bit on the low end. Nevertheless, you need to leave your car keys in the ignition if you want to marry a princess and make sure your hands are always awkwardly placed by your side at all times. Best of luck in your future endeavors.
@theblenderer I see you are new to the forum and just popped in to inform of your acceptance to ND. Please introduce yourself and tell us more. Where are you from, what type of school do you attend, what are you majoring in, what other schools have you been accepted to? What ND your first choice?
@theblenderer Thank you most admirable king blenderer for your undeniable wisdom.
My daughter received her letter in Salt Lake City yesterday. WE are beyond thrilled for her and proud of her hard work!!
@theblenderer are you an athlete? Your scores seem to indicate that you are either going to ND for an athletic scholarship or have parents/relatives who donated LOTS of money… or you are just extremely lucky. Some could say you have the luck of the Irish…
Yes, I am wishing that luck would have come to me. Congratualations! I had a 3.4 GPA (way low for ND I knew), but a 2030 SAT, 32 ACT, lots of extracurriculars including leadership and Eagle Scout with a two year project that heavily benefited my community, two sports and great recommendations. Where are you from?
Daughter got a thin envelope from ND in CT today. I didn’t open it, but holding it up to the light I saw the word ‘waitlist’ on it. Luckily she wasn’t set on ND.
Nothing in Central Indiana…
Are acceptance letters a standard letter in an envelope the same as a rejection would be or will I know right away based on the size of the envelope.
@CrazyMomof3 where in CT are you? Would you mind sharing your daughter’s stats?
