Admissions Question!

So I am new to CC, I don't remember when I joined but I have found that CC has been very helpful with providing really good information for me. I have applied to five schools so far, and may or may not have been accepted to one.

The one that I am asking a question about is the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio. I applied for Fall 2012 for English Equine Studies.

I have been tracking my admission process on something called "My Findlay" which I have been checking almost every day. For the last couple of weeks all it has been saying is: "You are in the application review stage" or something along the lines of that. Basically telling me that they have my application and everything and are just looking over it.

Today I went on, thinking I would probably just see the same thing, but this came up instead:

"You have been at the Accepted by School stage since 01/03/2012. " which is obviously today. I figured the offices would still be closed because almost every college is still on winter break, but I guess not!

Does this necessarily mean I've been accepted and should expect a letter soon? Or does this just mean they are in the stage of thinking if they want to accept me, or something like that?

Any help much appreciated! :) I know I should probably just be patient and wait to see a letter from them in the mail but I saw it on the site today and was curious.

Thanks!!

My guess is that you were accepted. That’s what it sounds like, at least. Usually I’d suggest calling the school to check, but they are probably swamped with applications coming in, so either give them a few days, or shoot them an email so that they can respond when they have time. Good luck!

Congratulations!!

@born2dance94: That is a good idea, I’ll probably shoot them an email tomorrow and give it a few days, and just keep checking the mail too lol! Thanks!

@familyof3boys: hehe thanks if that’s what it definitely is! Just gotta keep my fingers crossed :)
