Lots of CC members already know where they are headed in the fall, but quite a few schools will be sending out acceptances in the next few days. On behalf of Dave Berry, Sally Rubenstone, myself, and especially our great volunteer moderator crew, good luck & best wishes to all who are still waiting for the big news!

The qualifications of many CC members are really outstanding, but it's a fact of college admissions these days that superb candidates don't always get admitted. Too many applicants, too few spaces... So, a word of encouragement - if you DO end up with a thin letter from your top choice, don't despair:
- you'll no doubt have other great choices
- the vast majority of students are happy at the school they attend, and wouldn't change even if they could (and even if the school wasn't originally their top choice).
- there's NEVER a single perfect school for a student (even if it seems that way); many schools can provide a superb undergraduate experience, often with their own unique twist.

Here's to the CC Class of '06 - may all your letters start with, "Congratulations..."!

I'll go ahead and add my thanks also. My posts aren't numerous, but I've benefited more from CC than from all my guidance counselors combined. Thanks!

Thanks Roger, Sally, Dave, mods, and everyone else on CC. I can't even find the words to describe how much CC has helped me with the college admissions process. It gave me the motivation i needed to apply to some of the top colleges that i otherwise wouldn't have even bothered applying to. It gave me all the info that i ever needed or could want about college admissions, and even beyond ;) (high school forum!)

If i do indeed get into one of my top choices in the next 10 days or so, I can honestly say i owe at least 50-70% of the credit to CC. I'm serious. This site has helped me so much.

godspeed. "All people are alike in their dreams, and all people are alike in the promises they make. The difference is what they do. (Moliere, 15th Century French Playwright)

Good luck everyone! Remember, college is what you make of it, but a college won't make you (if you get what I'm trying to say, haha). Hope to see you all again!

I just want to say thank you to whomever started this site because it truly is a wonderful asset and resource. I'm sure all of us who use it would like to send y'all flowers, and candy, and big giant hallmark card for all of the great work you have done in helping us get through the college admissions process. Thanks again!
