Ok, so i got admitted for the spring 2011. When I applied last year, i put business economics major, but I would wanna change it later on, the thing is for the soar orientation it says there is two dates available, January 5th(all majors except liberal arts) or January 18th(all majors). And i read that economics falls under liberal arts. DO i really have to go to the january 18th date one ?? What happens if i go to the january 5th?? Because i dont wanna do econmics but change it into business admin or marketing / information systems.

Thanks.

Technically you’re not part of the business major yet. You are currently a pre-business major which is equivalent to being undeclared. You will be fine signing up for either SOAR date, especially if you plan on switching your major. During SOAR, you’ll be led by a SOAR leader for a specific given major. Just join the group with the major you think you want to pursue. It doesn’t mean you’ll be stuck with that major, but that group will be focused on giving you information on that major.

@juice did they receive your transcript yet? i haven’t sent mine yet lol. but i will on monday.

i hope so because i want to sign up for the january 5th orientation, the earlier the better.
