Admitted student day

Anyone knows when the admitted student day is this year? Any schedule and logistics planning for this visit?

Thanks.

I was wondering the same thing!

I heard it would be 04/10-11 this year.

That’s what I think too. I found something on a calendar about an a capella performance the night of the 10th.

Also the Celebrating Collaboration is on the Sat. 04/12.

I called the other day, it is the 10th-11th. Does anybody know if Smith ever provides travel assistance?

Just found out this on Smith’s web site:

http://www.smith.edu/events/collaborations_other.php

Anyone got invitation?

My daughter just got the word and signed up to attend the Open Campus days on April 10th & 11th. Depending on what the news is on some of her other schools, we will probably try to squeeze in a few more visits to those that she is accepted to earlier in the week. Although I wish there was more time for her to see some of the other schools on the east coast and the midwest, Smith is currently her #1 choice.

I wonder whether there is a registration page for this event?

There must be because she signed up for it on line this afternoon. She asked me questions about whether we could be there on Thursday and she told me she could stay with a student but I would have to find somewhere else to stay. She is at the library but if I can find it I will let you know.

Cross-post:

We’re trying to juggle schedules, and might have to miss the official admitted students’ day next week. Some other day we could pop in and have the admit visit classes and hang out. Has anyone here seen enough of these events to know if that is a dumb decision?

Would anyone please share your experience at the Admitted Student Day at Smith? Good and/or bad?

D attended the program this week and the overnights were what made a difference for her. She loved the students she met and they way they made her feel so welcome and a part of their community. If you can squeeze in an overnight before the deadline, I would recommend it.
