I thought it would be fun to see what people put in their boxes that may or may not have helped them get in. I know there have been threads about The Box in the past, but this way it's all in one place.

To begin, I put a picture of a cheesecake that I decorated myself, though I never informed them that I had decorated it.

My box has pictures from Paris; a cafe, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, a Picasso painting, a sculpture called the Ugoline, and a gargoyle. One behind the other, different sizes. On the front I put my stubs from my boarding passes. I taped them so that the pictures stood up and then I pasted over the square and behind the pictures a verse from the song, I love Paris in the Springtime...

I have a picture I took with my digicam of my Rice box that I might post if I'm accepted....it was quite artistic, complete with a picture of a rubber duckie, a VHS tape, duct tape, and a clever slogan, haha....

crosses fingers

But like MeltedCrayons, I don't want to risk jinxing myself at the moment...

i'm an ED applicant...I was scrambling to finish my application on October 31st, so i started getting really stressed out that night and i constantly kept glancing at the clock to see how much time i had left before i had to turn in the application...i said to myself "you know, i really wish i had more hours in a day"....so i drew a clock that had 18 numbers in it, instead of the traditional 12

from a really interesting national geographic article, i cut out models of the sun that show how the difference of rotational velocity between the core and the outer layers shears its magnetic fields to cause solar flares. I did it the the day of the deadline, and it was nothing that i thought too hard about. and not very artistic...haha

hey cANDYman, i noticed that the academic seal on your acceptance folder was gold? mine was silver....is there any difference between the colors? haha, i thought that was interesting
