<p>haha..fyi, it was in the newspaper today that something like 400-600 grad students just got eviction notices from their apartments starting winter quarter (without their prior knowlegde either i think)..its for something like renovations or something else dumb...i only skimmed the front page bc i was picking up a package, but that is def going to making finding housing starting winter quarter even more fun..>_<</p>

<p>@BlueSkyPinkCloud - probably not as bad as you think, since # of grad students vacating One Miramar Apts = # of grad students leaving current housing to move into their spots</p>
<p>(but it was a ****tay move, IMO. i'm used to other schools' admins being idiots, but UCSD generally kept a level head during my time there ...)</p>
<p>ah, yeah I guess that is true astrina lol..it just threw me for a loop because I didnt really expect ucsd to pull something sneaky like that. Its one of those, not really against the rules because they did give them some time, but at the same time its just really crappy and inconsiderate to be like, "Ohhh, by the waaaay.."</p>

<p>Most recent update is that there are a couple female spots open in Warren, but no male spots. They "expect to have more openings over break." Not sure how reliable that is, I'd advise you to do the same and have a comfortable plan B.</p>

<p>probably sometime during may, after they process all the SIR’s they received. but the bumping up didn’t happen last year, so dont get your hopes up too high.</p>
