Hello all,
I am currently a sophomore with a 3.2 GPA and I have already transferred once from a 4 year to another 4 year private institution. I originally left the first school because I was sort of unhappy and I was states away from family which made it really difficult to easily go home whenever needed. It also was extremely expensive (as all schools are haha). So anyways, I transferred to a 4 year in Miami, Florida and I found myself having to transfer again and here’s why. I was initially told I would have to pay a significantly less then what I was paying at my previous school, but in the end I am paying more. In addition to that, since this is a very small school the classes they offer per semester are limited and I am a Biology major. My freshman year I had taken all of my pre-requisites so I have nothing left to attend but science and math. I was told that Biology II and lab are only going to be offered in the summer and I can’t afford to stay on campus (I live 3 hours away). If not taken in the summer I will have to wait until Spring 2019. Without Biology II I cant take any other major courses like Anatomy, Physiology, etc. and I have nothing else I can take. I asked about taking the class at a community college but they told me I have too many credits for this, which is odd. So I applied to UCF, but they want to see if I have 60 credits, but I will have 62 credits completed once this semester is over. I haven’t heard anything back from them because they want to see my SAT scores since I don’t have ample credits. I did not do well on the SAT scores and this was over 2 years ago. My question is, should I wait until the semester is over to send my final transcript, or should I send my SAT scores? I need to get into UCF because this is my only option at this point and I don’t want to take time off of school because I hope to be in the Medical field.
