Advice for EE last semester and hours

The spring semester I will be graduating in EE. Right now I have 18 hours which includes senior design(doing ballon sat which has been done for years here so not as difficult as others), a art history for humanities. So, compared to EE classes I am really taking 15 hours and the other 3 are art history which I am not to worried about it. My plan is to attend the Aerodynammics or Stability and Control programs in AE graduate program and I have already talked to a professor and me getting in should not be a problem. He recommended I take fluid mechanics and thermodynamics as pre-reqs for the program. Right now, 3 hours of the 18 this semester is thermo. My question is, would taking 21 hours in the spring, adding fluid mechanics, be a bad idea? I have a 3.3 gpa and this want be my first semester with 18 hours, I have done it twice. Any advice?

I looked at the calendar and if I do this route of 21 hours, I will have two weeks into the semester to drop a class and receive a refund if I am too overwhelmed.

It’s not a question of should you do it, it’s a question of how much should I study to pass or do well in my classes so I can graduate on time.

I knew someone who took 26 units, so it’s possible to take a heavy load and still be okay.

If this is your last semester, it wouldn’t make financial sense to stay another semester.
