advice for my friend

<p>First of all, this is really my friend, not me.</p>

<p>He asked a girl out a long time ago, and the girl keeps telling him she will let him know. It's pretty obvious this is bothering him a lot... To his knowledge, a lot of guys were attracted to her, and she has turned them all down.</p>

<p>At first glance, I think she's not really into my friend, but doesn't want to jeopardize their friendship, so she doesn't want to say no. But I've never even met her (or maybe I have?), so I wouldn't know.</p>

<p>This guy has pretty good common sense, but I think he also has some strong feelings for her. Maybe he's letting his feeling cloud his judgment. idk, I'm not a relationship expert, but I'm curious. any thoughts?</p>

<p>This is kind of like my friend who keeps trying to get this guy’s attention that she likes, asks him to do things, asks for help with homework, etc. and he kind of makes up excuses not to (like the “I’ll let you know” thing you mention…just dragging it out, not giving a final answer). I’m not sure what to do either…I don’t think he likes my friend but I don’t want to tell her that…maybe she doesn’t like your friend? But I can see where you don’t want to be the one to say that.</p>
