Advice, help, support....

I am currently a high school junior. And i wanted to know what the highest i should score on my ACTs and SATs to get into NYU's school of journalism.
My cocurriculars are:

4-H: 9 years, 3 years as treasurer
Drama: (will be 4 by senior year)
Thespian Society: (will be 3 by senior year)
Newspaper: (will be 2 by senior year, and i may make editor)
Speech: Varsity(will by 2 years by senior year)

I will have: four years of Latin, one of which will be AP.
six years(worth) of english, all of which are honors
four years of Science, all of which are honors
four years of maths, all are regular
five years of history, three years are AP, one honors
four years of gym(..obviously, required in my state)

Currently i have 56 service hours, and will have at least 156 by next summer

My grades are what i think will bring me down. My freshman year is had a 3.9 and my sophmore year i had a 3.4.

So do i have a chance at all? and if I do have a chance, what do i need to score on my tests?

thanks.

(without sounding like i'm begging...) i need advice. my high school counslor is worthless.... she smiles and says 'try your best'... and she's the third one i've had in three years. The majority of students at my school go to a community college, or right into work. So I don't have any sort of administrative help. Accoriding to Princeton Review i should be able to get in, but I don't trust them. So, anybody who's applied and gotten in or rejected from NYU, or knows someone who has... do i stand a chance??

...bump.. please bump.
