Advice needed on ED?

Hi I am not sure which of the following schools I should apply to: Amherst, Williams, Bowdoin, Wesleyan, Colby, Johns Hopkins, and Vassar!
I know my chances of getting in is higher if I apply early; I really like to go to Amherst but if my chances of getting in is not extremely high, I do not want to waste my ED chance and actually use it to get to a college that I have a very very good chance of getting in.
But besides admission, which schools or school is the kind that people are not groupies and being a minority as i am, i am from iran, i can feel comfortable living there. I also come from a low income family. Also which schools pays the closest attention to neurobiology and physics, and u know sciences!! I like the school to be small as most of those mentioned are!!! Also attending which school would give me higher chances of getting my masters and PhD as soon as possible;?

Thank you!!!

I had the opportunity to visit a number of colleges in the midwest and out east. I narrowed my choices down to two schools…Amherst and Bowdoin. Amherst offers ED and Bowdoin offers ED I and ED II. I decided to apply to Amherst ED. If I wasn’t accepted ED I still had the opportunity to apply to Bowdoin ED II. The ED deadline for Amherst and Bowdoin is Nov. 15th. The ED II at Bowdoin is Jan. 1st. I was fortunate to have been accepted ED to Amherst in Nov. You may want to think about this option. It gives you the opportunity to apply ED to two really great liberal arts schools in the east. Hope this helps.

Thank you Nickoftime! What really confuses me is that Bowdoin’s second ED is on the same date as its RD! Both are january 1!

Bluepurple, they will make their decisions about the ED II applicants soon after the application deadline. The RD decisions will not come out until later in the spring. Even though they share the same deadline, the timeline on the review process and acceptance decisions is quite different.
