I'm in 9th grade currently and just took the AP US History exam. Since this was my first AP class, I obviously took it very seriously (studied upwards of 30 hours). I consider myself a hard worker and have pulled off A's in the class all year. Next year, I'm planning on taking AP US Government, AP Psychology, and AP Computer Science. Some things are bothering me though. My counselor is a $%^& and I'm thinking she might screw me over. She's screwed me over on other classes before. Anyway, my question is whether this set of APs sounds feasible:

AP Government (class)
AP Psychology (class; will self-study if my counselor screws me over)
AP Computer Science (class but I'll definitely self-study because the teacher is TERRIBLE! If you ask her how to do something, she'll just tell you to google it. I also have a semi-advanced knowledge of programming.)
AP Human Geography (self study)

People say AP Comparative Government & Politics is also easy. Based on your experiences, tell me if this is doable. I also wrestle and will play volleyball next year, so I suppose that should play a part in my decision.

Yeah, don’t bother self-studying Human Geo. It’s an interesting class to have but I dont really see the point in self studying it.

AP Comparative is one of the harder classes at my school…
Apparently, the AP Gov exam is quite easy.

Why not AP Eng Lang or Lit? The history APs aren’t terrible…you have to study but they’re not nearly as bad as some of the science APs (just my opinion though)

Another piece of advice?
If you really care about these APs, I wouldn’t recommend cramming the week before. Hahah. It gets really stressing. ANd really really tiring.

Well, I’ve already taken APUSH, so I’m only going to take World in junior year. AP Gov is also considered history, so that’s three history classes down. I’m going to take Bio and Chem in junior and senior years. I’m taking regular honors Chem next year.

Lit and Lang are junior and senior classes for me :). It’s just how it works at my school. You can only take Lang or Lit after 10th grade.

I’m trying to be a National Scholar so that’s why I’m bloating my schedule with easy AP classes. The real and harder AP classes will take place in my junior and senior years.

I started studying for my APUSH exam the day after Spring Break. When I’m taking all of these classes, I’ll probably start in January or February I guess.

So, to summarize in a way, what are the easiest AP classes out of the ones I’ve mentioned? I know there are several topics on this but I’d like to limit my choices to these few exams.

I would have to say that the easiest from your list would be AP Psych. It’s rumored to be the easiest AP test out there (I have it Tuesday so I have no personal knowledge) but the class has been one of the easiest classes I’ve ever taken…even when compared to some of my non-AP classes. It may have just been this way because I love psychology.

That being said, what is the easiest for one person may not be easy for another. Computer Science would be horrible for me, but since you have outside knowledge of programming, it will probably be easy (or easier) for you.
