I am currently a sophomore at csulb, this semester i kind of messed up and my current GPA is around a 3.1-3.2. I was looking to transfer to ucsd or usc, thinking i am going to get a better chance in the employement process. I was looking to go into an human resource career, but im unsure as to stay and finish at my current cal state and go obviously to grad school. or transfer to one of the more prestigious universities to give myself a "better shot." Any advice is greatly appreciated thanks in advance

There is no harm in trying to transfer. Once you get accepted you can debate the merits of staying/going.

yeah very true thank you for the reply. the only dilemma is deciding to try now? or to wait till my junior year to raise my gpa and then try to transfer but loose the credits/

Try now if it doesn’t work try again for junior year but I am sure USC will give you better employment opportunities than cal state
