Advice on what to do about promised two week decision

I won’t name the school but here is the scenario: My daughter received several letters/emails promising a waived application fee and an admission decision within 2 weeks of submitting completed application. This would apply to either submitting the school’s application or Common App. She submitted via Common App at the end of September and she hasn’t received a decision yet. Would you pursue this with the school or just wait longer for a decision?

It is fine to politely check. My D had a similar situation and it turned out the college never received her HS transcript.

One question is when did she complete submitting a “completed” application. A completed application includes all materials required including test scores, transcript, and any required recommendations. Whatever two week period they mentioned would not begin until the college had all those things in its hands (not just ordered sent). In any event, calling to politely check status is fine.

My daughter kept an eye on her school portal and it confirmed that all required materials were submitted the same week she submitted application. Thanks for the advice and daughter will politely check on her status.
