aem intra cornell transfer

dont get me wrong…when i applied to cornell as an atmospheric sciences major, i rally thought that this was and still is the the right major for me…however, since ive found out that cornell has an excellent econ program, and since ive really started like economics and business…

how hard would it be to transfer from within cals into aem

is the coursework extremely difficult

how is the post grad internship/work placement especially if lookin for work experience towards an mba.

It's not that hard once you take the required classes and do well in them.

Not at all. It's one of the easiest (if not THE easiest) majors at Cornell in terms of workload.

I have no idea, though I'm sure the cornell career office and other upperclassmen know better.

yes, many ppl cheat by going into some less competitive major and then transfer....

This was bitterly disappointing to read. Many atmos. applicants have tried to do this, but Cornell has sharpened up against this, according to the admissions director I met, and also according to an alumni of Cornell atmos. sci. If you have a TRUE passion for weather, I would see absolutly no reason why someone would want to transfer out... This does not make any sense, it seems like an attempt to gain entry into a competitive major.

thats the point, you can find plenty of students in prestigious universities that just don't know what life is about... and really, they will probably fail in life so let them do whatever they want

since when is aem a competitive major?

AEM has a very low acceptance rate, below 15%. or are you talking about the major itself?
