Aerospace engineering at Iowa State or University of Minnesota - Twin Cities

I have been looking into both schools for quite some time now and I see advantages at both schools and I was hoping to get some opinions from people who have attended those institutions with a major in aerospace engineering.

They’re both fine.

Are you instate for either school?

What about Purdue?

What are your parents saying about how much they’ll pay each year?

Neither one is in state but I get reciprocity with Twin Cities. However I will get a considerable amount of scholarship money from ISU. In the end I think ISU will be about $3k/year cheaper than Twin Cities. As for Purdue and money coming from my parents, I will get about $20k/year from my parents and considering the price of tuition for attending Purdue, I crossed that one of my list of options at an early stage in the college hunt process. Additionally, now I am not entirely sure but I would believe the deadline for Purdue has probably come and gone by now.
