I am an international student.I applied to UT DALLAS a bit late because I gave my SAT in january. I sent all of my documents on feb 25. My composite score is 1370(Math-750 CR-620) and gpa is 4.0 and back to 10th class grades is 91.25% . And my ecas are: 1.Vice president of science club in junior and high school. 2. Treasurer and chief tecinician of Information and communication Club of high school. 3. Member of scout in junior school. 4. Monitor of class. and chief achiements 1st runner up in all nation science exhibition program and few others. I have strong recommendation letters from my MATH, Physics teachers and Principal. My application essay is kinda good though. what are my chances? What award I might be granted.

In order to be considered for an AES scholarship, you need to be admitted by 3/1. They were asking for applications to be in by 2/1 in order to be sure that your admission could be processed. You may have applied too late. If you do get admitted in time, your stats and timing would probably qualify you for a $3000/semester award which is worth more than that because it would give you instate tuition.

GTAustin Am I that too late? Cannot I admitted if they have received my applications recently? Is there so hard and fast deadline of UTD..

All I can say is that is what the web site says. It also says scholarships can be limited do to lack of funds if not admitted by 2/1. You may have applied too late. UTD is becoming more popular in state and they are receiving more applications every year making it even more competitive to receive their scholarships. Hope for the best but have some back up plans.

GTAustin I don't know the universities that are great for computer science that still have deadlines. Can you help me figure them out? Like the ones which has good computer science faculty and provides good scholarship to international students

@peacenepal - look at Arizona State University. They have an American Scholarship - you need to apply before 4/1 and try to do earlier than that. They have a well organized program for international students.

@peacenepal - another university to consider is University of Houston. They have later deadlines and scholarships for international students.

Do they havw at least full tution scholarship programs #GTAustin. Thanks I will apply to them within few days. I basically need good financial aid cause I have low economic background

@GTAustin

Have you considered applying for a work-study through FAFSA?
