Affirmative Action

Ok. Im tired of these posts . SO THE **** WHAT ?!?! Like really its not like a black person with ridiculously low stats will get in over a non-black with high stats JUST because of AA. like really you people need to get a life.

most of you are SO damn stuck up with your 12 APs and 2350 SATs that you are "disappointed in". oh please . im pretty damn sure that you were bouncing off of the walls when you got that score IF that was your actual score because a ton of you fake it. but thats not my point . my point IS ... SHUT THE **** UP ABOUT IT ALREADY !!! my goodness !! maybe you werent accepted because THEY.DONT.WANT.YOU. mayeb you turned them off at the interview because you are so damn arrogant !!! good gracious !!

im not saying AA is right but sitting there posting about it on CC isnt changing anything . HYPSM etc are not the ONLY good schools in the country! and even if a black person got into one of those schools and you didnt its because that person deserved it and they did not want you. it is what it is.

and I really dont even care for replies to this i just want you dumb Anti-AA posters to see this. i think you ALL are nothing but pieces of ****. you disgust me.

and for the people who like to spell/grammar check posts... please just go to bed.

chill pill time, someone’s PMS-ing…

Sigh. Really?

call it PMSing or whatever I could careless.

@BillyMc: yes. really.

Then why make a new one?

i meant the anti-AA .
whatever.

Not one of these…

Your just feeding the flames. Just stop, take a breath, and move on. College isn’t what determines your success, what you accomplish in life does. So get over it, you can’t change people’s opinions on what they believe. This thread will be deleted soon.

Socioeconomic AA = Yes
Racial AA = BS

But this will just be another argument thread.

Some get BAs, too, you know…

Sigh

I’m going to bed.

Dude, we post about a lot of crap on CC and it doesn’t change anything. Doesn’t mean we can’t voice our concerns or complain in a public forum.

Look, maybe I’ve posted a couple things about this, but I don’t think you should be making the blanket statement that anti-AA posters are “dumb.”

And for the record, I got into Stanford, as well as some other great schools, am not in the least upset with my college acceptances, and still believe race-based AA is extremely unfair and wrong. I don’t want to start an argument about this, but I think you should realize that some people disagree with AA on principle, not because they feel directly disadvantaged by it.

There are so many threads with people bashing eachother over AA and talking about black person did this, black person did that. She’s just trying to give you a new point of view.

I’m tired of this all. People need to grow up (not you Adababy ^_^, i’m talking about the fools of the world)
So grow up peeps. Not all of you will go to Harvard, MIT, Brown, UCLA etc etc. Who knows, with the way some people bash CC’s on here they might end up at one.
and when you don’t go to your dream school, come on here and bash people who AA is for. I’ll sit here and laugh.
Have a nice day,
goodnight.

oh and Quomodod, most people (URM, ORM whatever) do not like AA. It makes us feel as if people question the good things that have come to us. It makes me upset. I wish it was not there, but it is. In some cases it is needed (but based on wealth)

When it comes to college admissions, everybody wants to play the blame game.
Such is life.
