<p>After someone if nominated to the Air Force Academy by their Senator or Congressman, what are the chances they will get an appointment?</p>
<p>If they are also academically and physically qualified…and their application is complete including a recommendation from ALO…most recently the overall percentage was 65%. Keep in mind that most MOCs are unlikely to nominate anyone they don’t think is qualified for USAFA. However, some (not many) MOCs have few or very few apply and they may nominate everyone that applies. </p>

<p>Thank you. I’m just curious, I’m not applying to the Academy, I was just thinking about what my friend’s chances of getting in are, since he’s gotten to this point. I hope he makes it - it’s all he ever wanted to be able to go there. </p>
