After transferring to UC, what will happen to my CCC's units and credits?

Hi guys,

I am applying to UCs from a CCC, and I have spent three yrs in this CCC. But what realy bothers me is that typical transfer students (like you and me) have to start at junior level; thus, right after first fall semester of junior year, when we trying to find an internship, we have barely nothing to show to a interviewer compared to those who finished their previous two years in UCs. Is that right?

In another word, when people like me facing an interviewer, they have to show their previous GPA that they earned IN COMMUNITY COLLEGES, but UCs would not give us new transcripts to verify that our credits have been recognized by these UCs.

Is that correct?

Thanks for any help!

They’ll still be in your CCC’s system. If you need to present the grades you got from the CC, just get a transcript from them.
