I actually applied to Reed!! I didn't think I would for a while, but I decided to apply. I've applied as a transfer and will know if I'm in or not in one more month :) I'm nervous because I got a letter saying they were reviewing my application and that the college only accepts 50 or so transfers per year. I can't wait to hear from Reed either way.

I feel like I may actually have a chance-- I've worked so hard this last year at school and got a 3.8 overall and Dean's List. w00t.

Anyone else transferring?? =]

Lemme know.

Also applying as a transfer, but didn't get that letter! What exactly does it say? Last year they admitted 72 people (out of 261 applicants). I wish we could get our responses sooner than May!

I also applied to Reed as a transfer student. You get a big envelope with a viewbook/application instructions and a postcard with your Reed ID# so that you can check your application status online, but that's it as far as I know. I also wish they would start sending decisions earlier than mid-May, because I've already received decisions from other colleges. However, I'm really holding out for those colleges (including Reed) that notify in May. I suppose barring some fluke we'll have to be very patient.

Good luck everyone.

BTW, interesting stats Calydon.

I applied, too. This college is AMAZING! I hope I get accepted.

Good luck, guys.
