Ahhh what should I do for the summer?!

<p>I am a current freshman at tisch, theater and I have nooo idea how to spend my summer. I don’t even know where to begin. I want to be able to earn money, but I also want to do a summer stock or something. I plan on staying in the city or near by. Are there any theater jobs that combine getting paid with getting experience? I don’t even know where to start. Are there play festivals in the city over the summer?</p>

<p>Also, Backstage.com</a> The Actor's Resource: Casting Calls, Movie Auditions and Actor's Union News has information about summer jobs/programs, and I think that at Tisch there should be stuff posted on the bulletin boards as well. </p>

<p>If you want to audition for summer stock I would hurry! I know people already going on callbacks!</p>

<p>Check backstage, you could do an internship at a casting office or theater etc, take nyu classes - academics or studio, take classes somewhere else, etc</p>
