Aime

The answers are now posted on the AMC website. I got a 12!!

really? Where? Can you provide us a link? (don't know why I am so eager, it's not like I have a shot at USAMO anyway.)

Yep, I got a 9, which I am very happy with :)

If only I was still a sophomore, so I could make the usamo based on my aime score alone...again haha

aime is a good topic... BUMP

I got a 10 in alternate AIME. Any comment on the cut off index?

I'm guessing a cut-off of 8. We should know very soon! Anyone interested in more discussion of the AIME and USAMO should check out www.artofproblemsolving.com

I think the difficulty are suppose to be the same... Or at least minor so you can't really notice. Chances are, the questions are not easier. It is you that got better that problem solving.

results are up! The AIME floor is 9. The index cut-off for people who took the AIME I is 233 and for people who took AIME II it's 220.5, so apparently the AIME II was on average 1 question harder. I think the difficulty is supposed to be the same, but that's probably harder to accomplish than they would like.
