Alabama Restaurant Week Starts 8/17!

This may be of interest “Savor the cuisine of Sweet Home Alabama with specially priced meals featured at restaurants during this Year of Alabama Food special event.”

Go to [Home | Alabama Restaurant Week](http://www.alabamarestaurantweek.com) and click on Tuscaloosa County for a listing of restaurants and what they are featuring. I always go to Cypress Inn but have not been to Evangeline’s nor Wintzell’s. Suggestions? Dreamland is also featured.

Return to all restaurants.
Baumhowers of Tuscaloosa

Cypress Inn Restaurant

Dreamland BBQ - Northport

Dreamland BBQ - Tuscaloosa

Epiphany Cafe

Evangeline’s

WingsU

Wintzell’s Oyster House-Tuscaloosa

WingsU and Baumhowers are owned by the same person and the menus are similar. WingsU has the Coal Pizza Oven and the specialty pizzas are very good. Their salads are boring…lol.

Wintzels is ok…I do like their oysters on the half shell, and some of their fish soups.

Evangeline’s is spectacular but pricey.

Cypress Inn is very good.

Haven’t been to Epiphany’s but have heard great things.

Thank you so much for the list… I have now been to Tuscaloosa twice and have 2 more trips planned before the end of September. I was beginning to think that the only things restaurants served were fried.

^^

Oh no!

Jason’s Deli has very good soups and a salad bar. We ate there twice last week!
My family says the club sandwiches are awesome too.
