<p>I'm planning on transferring for fall 2011. Recently I received an official warning for violating my colleges alcohol policy. How will this effect my application? Also the dean who will be explaining the circumstance is an alumnus of the school that I'm applying to. I'm pretty sure that he will write that it was a mistake that I have learned from and that he would recommend me for admission. Thanks!</p>
<p>What exactly was infraction. First infraction from many colleges is not “official” and does not go on your “official” record. check student handbook.</p>
