Algebra 2 and Trig Honors

I have a question. Is Alg 2 and Trig H hard? Can I get atleast and A- as my final grade?

I screwed up Alg 1 H. (Final Grade B+) It wasn't entirely my fault though. In the final marking period I got a B- as my grade, which brought my final grade down. I slacked off and got like 85's on my tests. But at the end I started arguing with the teacher, and my grade suffered. (participation grade)

I also screwed up Geometry H. (Final Grade B-) This I don't hate myself for. It was a summer school course, and I had to learn all the info, take a chap. test daily, quiz every other day, midterm and final all in 24 days. On top of that, the teacher refused to teach. But I feel grateful, as many people failed. Only one kid got an A-. (highest grade)

So as you can see, I really wish to get atleast an A-, this coming school year. I'm do not lack intelligence in any way. I am somewhat lazy, and always have the luck of getting the worst teachers....

But do answer my question....

I thought it was spectacularly easy. I'm a math-type person though, so it all made sense to me, and some of the other people in my class struggled a LOT. It's really not bad though.

A lot plays into this. Your competency at math and your teacher are the two biggest factors.

For the average CC member, it's easy.

easy peesy lemon squeezy for this math nerd=]
points to self

yeah if u screwed up basic algebra and geometry
you're gonna screw up on alg2/trig no doubt about it
you should be able to do algebra and geometry in your sleep

don't blame bad teachers
i taught myself calculus

^ I knew you would comment on this.

Anyways, it is really not that hard, but then again, I am a CCer, so it might be harder for you. Just don't slack in the class!

of course
math is my best friend=]
we've known each other since i was teeny weeny

^ I would give you a wedgie and call you a dork if you did not live in Vegas and were not a girl. Lol.

oh wow who still gives wedgies??
u like in freaking antarctica with the penguins??

^Um, I do...to my brother.

Lol, you read that thread. Yes, but I am thinking of coming down to SC for Vacation at the end of August.

At summer camp there was this really small 13 year old in our cabin. We gave him a wedgie and hung him by his underwear on the bunk post and took a picture.

I like to freeball, however.

^ ME TOO. I would do it in Jeans, but it might hurt. I do it when I am at home, but I just where nothing when I sleep.

u give yourself wedgies??

^ No, I give my brother wedgies. I was referring to the second part of Antimod's post.

I can't give you an exact answer, whether Algebra 2 is hard. But at least you should take it, even though I'm not a big fan math or else a big genius when it comes up with math. I never get the best math teachers, usually the good math teachers at school teach Math Analysis or Calculus, then the crappy math teachers will then teach the other math as Algebra 1,2, or Geometry. Trig I don't know.
With the info given, you got decent grades for your math classes and you did get a decent grade for geometry while taking it during a summer course. You should take Algebra 2 and Trig, it won't hurt if you try.

as long as u dont slack and review what u learned everyday u should be fine
xD
i got alg 2 honors and im a soph

Alg 2 was hard for me because I had a hard but really good teacher. I personally thought that Alg 2 was harder than Pre-Calc but that's just me
