All-nighters

Last year I pulled like 4, but only because I was a junior.

This year, I just sleep it all off.

hah. just pulled one tonight. F.ucking math research paper. Who needs a research paper for math? and 15 pages at that?

yeah pretty busy weekend:
--practice SAT (mom made me.....)
--Math HW
--Chem HW
--French HW
--English Essay
--600 pages of Grapes of Wrath by Wed.
--15 page math paper

:( not fun
i dont think i'm going to school tomorrow though....seeing that I'm not done yet

I've only done it twice- Once playing Gears of War Online and the other time playing Halo 2 online.

For homework, the latest has been four in the morning.

It's funny, before I began taking AP classes, 12 would be late for me. Now 2AM is nothing.

No matter how much homework I have, I never pull all nighters. I'll stay up late (well, late for me), maybe to midnight, and then I just crash. I usually figure out some way to complete the work in the morning before a class. Like....do it in other classes.

LOL @ tennisgal: That's me in a nutshell. I skip school to do HW also... it's often doubly productive as then I also get extensions on deadlines.

I have never pulled an all-nighter. Never. Ever. I mean, I could, but then I'd sleep all through the day. Going 48 hours without sleep as ChaosTheory describes??? Ridiculous. Out of the question. How can you still function and get work done without sleep for so long?

Besides, I'm a second-semester senior. What do you expect? :P

i hate all-nighters cuz i get a little crabby...but you get soo much done, and you are less stressed out...because at 11pm, you can tell yourself you have 7 hours left....i always finish what i need to do, and then get ahead..

lol im not gonna even answer

All-nighters studying in high school? You kids are crazy.

I've pulled like 7 all-nighters already and I'm a freshman. I don't do school homework, though. I do various other things. :)

i've only done one all-nighter this year as a junior, which is pretty good in my opinion. my usual bedtime is 2am and 4am before major test days.

wow! time management people! im a full IB senior and I have a 4.2 GPA and I've NEVER pulled an all-nighter! i've never stayed up past 12 on a school night and I'm almost always done with my homework by 7 and if i have a test/paper MAYBE 9. All of this all-nighter stuff is so unhealthy!

every week i do about 3 all nighters. I'm a senior.

even on weekends I sleep at 4 am because I have now turned into an insomniac.

I get chest pain here and there.

one time i did three all nighters in a row...I was playing CS. By the third day i was even playing. my fingers were just doing evasive maneuvers. when i took my fingers off the keyboard it coiled up.

I pulled an all-night once.. during 1st semester of Junior year for my AP Eng Lang research paper (I waited to type it all the night before >>; but it only had to be about 5-8 or 11 pages I think.. it wasn't that long but mine ended up being the maximum limit.. .__. sigh) and I have not pulled another since (and I really hope I won't have to..

I pulled a few freshman year and I think two this year, and I'm not even a junior yet. =( I remember I once stayed up all night doing a 30-some-odd page study on spotted salamanders the night before freshman lockin, where no one sleeps. That was two all nighters in a row. At least I had a valid reason...

It's not too bad.

As long as I take some coffee, I don't feel the difference. Haha, sadly, I test better after some serious sleep deprivation -- something about actually focusing on the assessment.

Wow. U r da man!

lack of sleep kills.

wow..i was expecting CCers to be a bit more experienced.. i pull them all the time.. they're a lot of fun. i thought everyone would be saying like, "3 a week", "5 a month"...i pull them all the time! ..i would say i do about 8 a month. they're really great.. i get to relax and have some peace and quiet...but doing 4 in a row gets tiring.

Wow you guys are total losers. Who the hell stays up all night to do homework in high school? I wont do that till college. Why would you waste the easiest years of your life living sleep deprived b/c of doing schoolwork?

[/quote]

Absolutely. It is not hand work. Here, the quality is more important than quantity.

My girlfriend doesn't let me sleep...and then I get to work and my secretary wants to take dictation. I am ragged!
