What should I do all the seats are taken within like 50 miles of me the closest school is like 2 hours away. Has anyone done it where you let college board choose your location or is there like a standby list you can go on. need help.

you should speak w/your guidance counselor…and the school where you want to take the test…this happened to my daughter once, she was able to go to the place she wanted to take the test as a stand by tester…just waited until everyone else went into the school and she went in after they did. piece of cake@

I have to take SAT roughly an hour away…

Like radannie said, you can do standby testing. The problem is, while there’s often room for you, nobody is guaranteeing that. I’d rather go 2 hours away to take the test, if that’s what I needed to do to be guaranteed a spot.

Is there a problem with taking it in october? Or does the school of your choice want your scores before then?

UCs let you take your sats up until December.
