1)explore other colleges for RD, have a look at their essay topics
2) cry for a while and go find some negative points of the ED school, tell myself there are better choices~~ >.<

Looking at the major/minor programs for my top choice >.<.

If I get rejected? Deal with the fact that there's no other college I really want to go to, therefore I'll have to settle with something.

I hate waiting.

ed at wharton.
1. drinking too much alcohol/ gym/ not sleeping enough :(.
2. go to another ivy and if not then my safety (uf)

thaprecepta, you made my day just now. hahaha.

1.Homework/stressing over college/other applications/stalking the schools website and CC / watching the Colbert report

I am not optimistic at the moment abt my chances so if I were to get in it would be a ginormous and amazing shock . If/when i get rejected I plan to start applying to more schools while eating ice cream

1 nice thing about Vanderbilt is they don't defer at ED
they cut the cord. no false strings of hope. kind of better that way.

Hardcore winter training for the spring track season. I've gone lackadaisical on school (senioritis has hit), but still have a bunch of extracurriculars to finish up. I'll be working on my Mendelssohn concerto for a huge scholarship competition, and definitely tackle the Christmas season with epic happiness.

I'll be really, really depressed. And using the momentum gained from that depressed attitude, I'll complete another seven or eight apps for RD, and be paranoid for the next four months.

1) What are you doing to distract yourself during the wait?
Endlessly downloading illegal, mediocre music to distract my mind; silence is not a friend.

2) What is your if-I-get-rejected plan?
Cry, shop, party, obtain therapy, in that order.

unfortunately, homework/essays

get someone to take me out for ice cream

I will be acting like nothing has changed. I will still procrastinate on school work (and then always get it done just in time). I am going to begin winter training for rowing and get excited for our Christmas Dance that is coming up! Oh yeah... and worry.

I will probably curl up in a little ball for a little while, be amazingly upset, and then kick butt on my RD applications to show my ED school they made the wrong choice in letting me down. Oh and I will erg (train) like CRAZY to make sure that I show the rowing coaches at my ED school that they missed out.

Study for the December SATs..

almost time guys.

Studying for brutal finals like o-chem & calc.
& some subject test review in there too.

Oh wow. I don't know.
I don't deal with rejection well really.
I'll cry for a while, be upset.....hell.
I think I pretty much go through the 5 stages of grief.

I don't have a backup plan yet..(not out of confidence..probably more out of laziness and not having enough time)
I'll work on it lol.

1) Throwing myself into work and exercise, trying not to think about it, but failing miserably.
2)Be a little sad, compose myself over break, find the place that's right for me :)

1) Trying hard to write RD applications. Watching Heroes season 3, Gossip Girl season 2, Sex and the City, Skins, Dexter, House, and some other dramas on the Internet. Reading some serious stuff and some trash romance novels. Eating ice cream with brownies. Wanting to enroll in latin dance classes but mom won't let me. Too cold here to do any sports outside... :-(

2) Oh well... Probably would feel bad... and have doubts about RD as well. What if I slip and fall as easily in all other schools? What if I'm rejected from all schools? Or something like that. Let's hope that I have some luck in the RD schools.

retail therapy

retail therapy

Simply enjoying life! =)

My two obsessions right now:

I've really gotten into reading more (my latest read: "Ahead of the Curve" a great story on a journalist's experience at Harvard Business for his MBA)

Podcasts: Downloaded some from Best of Youtube, Mythbusters, TED, Word Nerds, the Economist, and various others that I found interesting. I also have to admit that I've downloaded 4 GB of lectures/interviews from Stanford, Yale, UPenn, and UChicago...but they are quite fascinating Business/Management/Leadership/Technology lectures that are perfect for driving and killing time :D

Just SEVEN MORE DAYS!!!!

I am studying (not) for finals

If I dont get in, I dont know what I'll do :(

Just heard from Vassar-they are not mailing until the 15th-so another week of waiting..

I applied SCEA to Yale and got deferred, which is kind of stressful, and made me apply to more schools to make a grand total of 19. In the meantime, while I wait for a final decisions, I plan on enjoying my senior year as much as possible with my friends and watching gossip girl religiously every week.
