Already accepted at Harvard

Hi,

I read on another forum that someone was already accepted to Harvard from India as he had qualified for his state scholarship. He had also received an unconditional offer from Cambridge even though they don't send out results until a week from now. How is it possible that someone who is not a recruited athlete has already been accepted to Harvard so early in the admissions process? Is this a case of trolling? (the guy had <20 posts)

■■■■■■■■. stop. being. so.gullible. poke. SLAP.

there’s nothing that prevents me from making another account right now and posting ridiculous things ;)

maybe i’ve already done that…
who IS the real pigs??!?!?

some guys here are just pathological liar.

some people here at CC are lying to feed their egotistical and narcissistic selves.

Lol sorry for being so gullible!

I really don’t get what people gain by placing themselves in the ideal world of a ■■■■■. Perhaps delusion is bliss…

Your >1000 posts should have effectively shielded you from the ■■■■■ :(

Does Cambridge even give unconditional offers?

As far as I know, you HAVE to get your predicted A levels or IB scores to gain admissions.

Cambridge is posting results tomorrow, which is today in England (Jan 5th). I think it emails some results to internationals, so it’s possible he literally just got his results, but unlikely. We Cambridge applicants also have this suspicion that this one part of our online app reveals something about or decision, but it’s only supposed to tell us if we’re pooled (essentially, waitlisted).

I think maybe Questbridgers have Harvard decisions by now, but certainly no one else.

^ Harvard does not participate in the QuestBridge program. Oh how wish it did.
