Anyone have any data on kids accepted early to SDSU and CPP and how they fared for CPSLO?
My son was accepted to SDSU in mid December and to CPP last week.
CSU GPA 3.8, ACT 33, Mechanical Engineering

SLO does not notify you of acceptance until February or March. Expect the notifications to start rolling out beginning in the 3rd week of February and it can actually last until April. My kid was notified in the 3rd week of February, but that was in 2011. He is a senior now in Mechanical Engineering. Your son’s stats are fairly competitive, so he has a good chance. Good luck!
My younger son was accepted to SDSU and CPP earl last year, but did not get into SLO. He applied ED for CS last year, was deferred then denied. Your son’s Stats are competitive and he has a decent chance however, ME is the most applied engineering major. My son had 5 good friends apply for ME last year and only 1 was accepted. The rest are going to UCSD/UCLA and UCSB so you can see how competitive SLO is for engineering. Good Luck to your son and I hoping for the best.
@Gumbymom - Thanks for the reply, do you mind giving sons stats?
@OsakaDad - I assume your son was accepted early to SDSU and CPP? If so, what were his stats if you dont mind me asking?
Just trying to gauge how many were accepted/denied to SLO if they had been accepted to SDSU and CPP early. I wish there was a way to track graphically, multiple acceptances.
CSU GPA: 3.73 ACT: 31 with 10 AP classes. He knew CS was going to be tough and SLO was probably a reach based on his GPA. I know 2 of his friends that applied for ME had around a 4.2 CSU GPA around a 2100-2200 SAT.
