Hi, I am moving and transferring to a different community college and could use some help. I am transferring to a university next year so I don’t have time to make any changes to my ed plan. I didn’t see transferring cc’s as a problem until I realized that this school has a prerequisite for a class I need that my old school did not. If I alter my unofficial transcripts to show that I took the class would my new school verify with my old school to see if I really took the class? I really don’t see any other way around this. Any advice would help! Thanks!
Is this a joke post? It falls into the “You can’t be serious” category.
Do NOT lie on your transcripts. It could result in your school eventually revoking your degree or kicking you out. Plus, it’s just dishonest.
Talk to the school and ask what you can do to make up that prereq or possibly substitute another class.
Some schools do not enforce prerequisites, or only enforce them for specific courses. Check if this is the case.
I have. This is the case with new school. It wasn’t with my previous college
They know what you took already since you applied to the school and they will get your final transcript from the school. The new school must not have a very good admissions office or they just make mistakes sometimes.
