Alternate Majors

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I’m dying to know!

My major is Biochemistry, and my alt. will probably be Linguistics, or something.

I know that you can get accepted into your alternate major, but can you switch majors once you are accepted? Because I would much rather major in Biochem instead of Linguistics, and since they’re both under the College of Arts and Sciences at most UC schools, how hard would it be to switch?

I do not think you should have problems switching but I would check each schools change of major policy to see the requirements.
