Alumni Scholarships?

But what kind of questions do they ask. I got the phone call and e-mail, and the told me that the interview is only 10 minutes. How can they make a decision in such a short time? 10 minutes is not enough time for the interviewer to get to know you. It just doesn't seem practical. But for those of you who actually got the scholarship (or have already done the interview), what is it like?

What are the chances of getting the scholarship?

depends how many people are invited to compete at your local area interview. for my region, they offered 3 scholarships out of 8 interviewees, and 2 of them moved onto the next round.

If you get the scholarship, are you legally bounded to go to UCLA? Because I'm not 100% sure I'm going yet.

i asked the same question to those people, and they said it was fine.

my district is awarding 5 out of 8 people with 4,000 dollar scholarships, and i dont know how many people move on. still sounds fun though!

ahhh i'm an alumni scholar

but i'm not moving on the area interviews. ehhh, i'm happy enough with my 4,000 dollars

What questions did they ask you?
