Everyone emphasizes how important junior year classes are and how you should take the classes that are hardest.

Thing is, I took CalcBC AP, Bio AP, and World AP this past year (sophomore) so I can't do that junior year.

Consequently I'm taking "slackerish" AP's like Compsci and Chinese and "typical" AP's like APUSH and Stats.

Will adcoms see that I already took the harder classes sophomore year? How much will it hurt me? Could it even possibly help me?

Btw, I'm aiming for HYPSMC (especially H) after my sister got into H.

Hey hey now I would love to have AP Computer Science in my school but noo, those ■■■■■■■ can’t find a goddamn teacher. Anyways, AP Stat for us is a senior class but I’m taking it anyways. (Junior next year ftw, he’ll probably kick me out, dick)

Nope, you’re not screwed at all. As long as the adcoms see that you’re taking the toughest courses possible, you’re in good shape. Doesn’t matter in what order you took them.

Thanks for the assurance… but now that I think about it, I probably could have challenged into Chem AP. Not sure how I’d do in the class though considering I never took chem h.

you took BC sophmore year :O. its not even offered at my school. With classes like those, you dont have to worry about adcoms thinking your schedule is soft
