Am i screwed?

Hey guys

I've been lurking this forum for quite a while but when finally i attended college i registered. I attended CCC for my first college semester this fall, i've taken easy classes since i've came late and there was no good classes available, Im aiming to transfer to top universities like Berkeley or cornell, stanford and yale (the last two im not conscious about first two is more realistic). However i just saw my unoffical grades and it was such a shock to me, i got a C in stupid cultural anthropology class, i didnt do well the first test but the second one i made an A and i dont know how i did on the final, it was cumulative and grade is based on a curve, do you think the curve screwed me up or i really didnt do well on the final?
im so sad, it feels like my dreams are over, and all the hours spent on studying in the library gone to waste with this C, im trying to shoot for at least 3.8 GPA to be competitve for berkeley and cornell, and i didnt start my prerequisites yet (computer engineering major)

getting a 4 GPA in engineering prerequisites would be extremely diffecult for a low gpa high school student like me (2.6 in HS)

did i blow it? or i still have a chance?

still waiting for one of my classes grades but im fairly sure it would be an A so my current gpa would be around 3.5
im a middle eastern international student

You might want to add some more schools because both are high reaches if you’re doing engineering.

i have another choice UCSD
i can do tag with a 3.5 and not complete all the prerequisites just complete the igetc so i think that would be pretty much a safety

Bump bump bump

kid you still got a shot just get a good college gpa and most schools don’t even look at your hs transcript if you have more than 60 credits

Oh, my gosh. I got almost the same thing. I am a CCC student and have been managing my GPA over 3.5 so far without C. However, this semester I got the first C on my O CHEM which really makes me sick. Almost two year study with blood and tears is suddenly destroyed by the C… I have to say goodbye to all well known universities I wish to apply: NYU, UCLA, USC, EMORY, MIAMI, Columbia. Now I am looking for schools such as U of San Francisco, SUNY, BU…
