So far I finished 4 vocabulary lists:
1) Direct Hits
2) PR's Hit Parade
3) RR 323
4) Barron's High Frequency vocab.

Is this it?
I am sorry I couldn't memorize Barron's 3500 because I am overloaded with SAT II's. In my country, there are no AP's so SAT II is my only chance.

Sounds good. Make sure you also memorize the words in DH that are defined in passing (as part of the definition of some other word, etc.) in addition to the words that are featured prominently.

That was what I did last time. The problem is that when I do practice tests at home, in silence, without no distractions, I score much better than on the real exam.
The problem that concerns me is that on test day, because of being too nervous I can’t comprehend what I read in passages. Besides not being well-focused, my mind just stops and I can’t understand what I read even though I know/knew vocabulary. Last time, I got too nervous, couldn’t understand the passages, and thus, made dozens of guesses which eventually lowered my scores to unrecognizable ranges that I had never gotten before. The biggest thing I am afraid of is this: being too nervous, being in rush, and failure to understand the passage.
Any tips?
My experience shows that paired (dual) passages aren’t for me because they do take so much time and I get most questions related to those passages wrong. The question is how to answer “direct and to the point”? I decided answering throughly sentence completions questions and making ONLY line reference easy questions.
Any advice?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, you are all set. You really worked hard!

Thanks dark knight! (I love this movie too! :))

No!!! Study Barron’s 3500. :)

There isn’t much time to do that! I’d love to!

I’d say that you are in great shape. In truth, my analysis of recent tests shows that the two best lists are DH and Barron’s High Frequency Words. There is really no need to waste valuable time memorizing the full Barron’s list.

How much time do you have?

I’ll post my SAT findings in a few days. Right now I am working on APUSH. Have discovered a new APUSH book that appears to be incredible. But I want to check my facts first.

Yaziinyz,
I have one month.

dark knight,
what’s APUSH?(Is it AP US History? How relevant it is to this? I can hardly remember historical passages in CR) I am not that great. I usually answer only 14 sentence completions correctly in my new PR’s 11 practice tests book. So there are some words not covered in those 4 lists. I am trying to refrain myself from answering passage related questions because mainly, I miss them.

APUSH = AP US History. I was just saying that I don’t have time right now to compile and post my recent findings on DH and Barrons High Frequency Words. I do think they form the best combination. At the moment I am focusing on APUSH. There is a new book being published by Direct Hits that looks like it could be very good.
