All right, so I got the e-mail with the chance to elaborate upon my Native American background. The form has a question that asks if there is anything else about my background that I want admissions to know and I am treating it a bit like an essay. Thus, I was wondering if anyone here will read my "essay" and give me some input before I send it back to my counselor? Thanks! PM me or respond here if you would like to help me out! :)!

No helpers?

Sure dpattzlover I'll read it... although you haven't responded to my email... -.- (long time ago)

I'm sorry, what e-mail was that?? What is your e-mail address, I'll respond (just send me another e-mail so you don't have to post it on here)! And thanks!

You wrote an essay? I got the idea it was supposed to be short and sweet...

you have a lot of threads about being native american..... It seems as though you are counting on your race to get into college..

There are only two lines of space allocated to the question... sure, it says attach another page if necessary, but I really think that if you write a full on essay you'll just end up frustrating whoever reads it.

Just for some reference, I took fifteen minutes filling out the form, of which ten minutes was used to download the software to edit the PDF. They seem to want it nice, short, and simple. ;)

Bobby

Yeah, it's not an "essay" really, it's pretty short now. And, no, I'm not relying on my ethnicity to get into college; sorry if it came across that way. Stanford sent the form and I already sent it back, so don't worry about reading it.
