Oh and by the way, what determines if you get a phone call is your admissions officer. Some do it and some dont. I spoke to friends from last year. Ahhh good luck everyone, keep the faith

And, someone jump on me if I am wrong, but my admissions counselor said that writing isnt used?

The SAT writing section is almost never really looked at by colleges. Which sucks in my case because I beasted it but oh well. I love everything about AU. The size, the campus, the surrounding area, the city, SIS; I cannot even describe how I felt when I was on campus. I am so nervous. I dreamed about the acceptance AGAIN. Good luck if the letter arrives today!

I was accepted last year ED into SIS, but took a gap year to Brazil. So I’m also a part of your class! AU 2015 wooo!

I’m from CT and got my phone call from my regional counselor around this time, but that’s not the only way they notify you. Some of my friends didn’t get a phone call, but they got an email with ACCEPTED as the subject and a .gif of a dancing eagle. Like someone said in a previous post, it all depends on your regional counselor.

You guys all sound like awesome candidates and I’d be proud to be with any one of you guys next year

For those who are interested btw, you can join the AU Class of 2015 Facebook group! You can join here:

Right now it only has 8 members, which is pathetic compared to the 2014 group. This time last year it had hundreds of people. It was a great place to meet new people, search for roommates and answer all those annoying questions we all have to answer. So join as soon as you get the news and make AU Class of 2015 the best it can be!

I am so pumped to be an Eagle and I know you guys will be too.

just realized that i seriously screwed up my sat scores above. I guess that’s what i get for writing an essay and sitting on CC at 11 pm.
Actual scores: CR:670 M:550 W:670. Total of 1890.

That twitter picture of the accept packets is making me EXTREMELY NERVOUS!
AHHH I cant wait any longer. My advice is to stop worrying everyone and just wait. Last year’s class found out on the 18th of December.
This is all so crazy!

My son is a freshman at AU and we live in Ohio. My son got a phone call early evening from the regional rep and he was still at track practice. So, the rep said he would call back and asked that we not tell him that AU called. They must love the excitement of calling. Sorry, guys, can’t remember the date. The packet arrived a few days later…big and thick…with the word CONGRATULATIONS across the front.

I can’t deal with being this nervous. Even though I KNEW the letter wasn’t gonna be here today, I was shaking when I got the mail. I’m driving myself insane!

You and me both, my friend. I’ve just been staring out my window aimlessly for the last hour as if some rogue postal service worker is going to appear with my letter. It consumes me. If someone gets a phone call from Mass, let me know.

Well I am in RI so our phone call (if we get one) would be by the same rep and I haven’t gotten one yet. But if the phone rings I will be the only one answering!!

I can relate…I found myself refreshing this forum and another site to see if people got accepted yet and it was like 11 PM. I don’t think the mail comes that late!

I sincerely hope and pray we all get accepted. I would hate to have anyone feel that disappointment. I’m crossing my fingers for us!
